We have too many motorcycle tragedies every year and the majority of them are not due to careless riding on the riders part. They are a mix of poor driving, not enough attention to the road, and some traffic laws here in Canada.
Lane splitting makes sense in every possible way but is illegal and our society gets angry at bikers for it. When was the last time someone was angry that you tried to protect yourself? I can only think of one answer for that and I’m for that reason as well…
It’s time we educate people, and our government on the best way to prevent these accidents.
