In a prime position to secure the first overall pick, and highly touted Clemson standout Trevor Lawrence, the Jets go out and win a football game at the absolute worst time to do so.
With this ill-timed victory, that position for the first pick moves to Jacksonville and puts these lowly Jets in the number 2 spot. Jets fans and management are crying together as they may have blown their chance for that franchise player to build around.
