When selling your home in a Sellers market it’s very easy to get it sold for an asking price, or slightly above. Especially when it’s price correctly! This makes it seem like it’s hard to tell the difference between the best Realtor in the industry, and the worst. It’s not.
Each listing will have a unique situation that if handled or approached correctly can bring you extra Buyers and probably extra offers. I’m not even talking about how well your property is marketed.
I had a situation this week that really showed how much money a Seller left on the table because of a decision to accept an over asking offer with NO notification to the lineup of realtors who had showings booked the next day.
The offer was barely over ask, and lucky for my Sellers, it was the same price as our listing. Those Realtors who had an accepted offer happen with no notification came to my Sellers listing, and will probably help us get even more money!
